(Just kidding) I was just directing you to my About page.
Welcome to my den of silliness. I am Natalie, I’m twenty-one years old and I live in this small island named Puerto Rico (Google it, if by some chance you don’t know where it is).
Reading is my passion, so starting a blog seemed like the way to go.
This blog is my way to express my thoughts about everyday things… like pizza.
Okay, no. I’m a Biology student and I should have more things to talk about, but pizza is a good topic as well. I also think about it more than I would like to admit… *adds to my imaginary list of topics for posts*
Okay, let’s get (a little) serious. I started this blog because I want to be comfortable with expressing my opinions and being a better person. Also, I wanted to share the things that define me as a person. I hope you stay for the ride, as I plan to keep this blog for a while. I really thought this would become a book blog, (hence the name) but new things are nice, and things are not usually what you expect!
I’m not new in the blogging world. I ran a book blog for a while. I didn’t have much time to run it and it wasn’t very successful, so I deserted it when I got into college.
Months later, I started thinking about blogging again… I wished I had stuck with my small blog and kept going… sharing my love for books with the world!
Blogging has always been one of my favorite things. Maybe if I started small, I could learn how to be a real blogger, and be like the ones I so deeply admire. That’s why I started SB&ST. (hm, that acronym sounds really nice. Maybe I’ll start using it)
Of course, that has not happened yet, and won’t for a while. Maybe it never will… *shrugs* But that doesn’t mean I will stop trying. In fact, I plan to blog consistently and learn from other bloggers, since my main purpose for Science, Books and Silly Things isn’t other than that: learning, and making connections that will help me both professionally and personally.
I’ll keep adding more things to this page (like pictures and things about me) so keep coming back!
*Adds a picture of my pug* This is Sasha. Isn’t she fabulous?
These are my cousin and my brother. My cousin takes amazing pictures!! (When she takes pictures of me I usually post them to my Instagram (With her permission, of course. :D) My brother is so tall!! XD)
I’m also a huge Whovian, as you can see from this picture. This was in Puerto Rico’s Comic Con last year. It was really fun. I hope to go back this year, if school allows it.
Well, you’ve reached the end of this page. *grins* Leave me a comment if you want to say anything. (I know, I know, you love the pug, so leave Sasha some love here! :D)
If you want to know more about me, well, you’ll just have to follow!
